These are considered “soft services”. Other programs are for individuals seeking financial assistance.

Workshops available in group settings to target groups as follows:

  • Industry Recognized – Smart Serve, Service Excellence, NORCAT;
  • Basic Proposal Writing;
  • Entrepreneurship – Fostering the Spirit;
  • Self Employment Planning – Business Plan Concepts

Services at Community Level

Aimed at providing community capacity:

  • Assistance with recruitment and selection (screening and interviewing) processes of training participants and trainers;
  • Assistance with developing job descriptions;
  • Project Training Plan Development;
  • Co-ordinate Outreach Services of Service Canada programs;
  • Training of staff responsible for Shooniyaa Wa-Biitong projects;
  • Career Fairs;
  • Workforce Human Resource Development Strategies
  • Providing support for large scale Industry related training and employment opportunities
