SUMMARY:Guiding Circles Workshop
DESCRIPTION:What: Guiding Circles Workshop – Step 1 and Step 2\nThe three (3) day session will provide training to community-based career development professionals. The workshop will strike a balance between informal lecture and practical\, hands-on experience. Participants get an opportunity to personally explore the issues and techniques involved in the program\, providing them the ability to critically reflect upon their counseling experience\, and prepare to conduct Guiding Circles client workshops in the future. It is a great opportunity to network with peers from other communities. \nWhere:\nMinis Hall – Super 8 by Wyndham Kenora\n240 Lakeview Drive\nKenora\, ON PON OH2 \nWhen:\nOctober 26\, 2021: 9:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.\nOctober 27\, 2021: 9:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.\nOctober 28\, 2021: 9:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. \nNo Registration fee to attend but participants ARE responsible for their own travel\, meals and accommodations. \nEach participant receives: \n\nWorkshop training package containing Guiding Circles workbooks and support materials\n10 additional booklets to help them begin coaching their clients right away\nCertificate(s) of completion upon successfully completing the requested activities during the workshop\n\nIf you are interested in attending please complete the attached registration form and return it via email to eadvisor@shooniyaa.org ATT: Stephanie Green\, Employment Advisor or fax to (807) 467-2345 by Friday\, October 8\, 2021. \nPlease note there are limited seats available and seats will be allocated on a first-come basis. \n
